Most of us are familiar with the words, 'neighborhood' and 'community'. If you look up their definition, each refers to either a social group of any size whose members reside in a specific locality, and often have a common cultural and historical heritage. Secondly, it can also mean a district or locality, often with reference to its character or inhabitants.
Since 1985 The Cliffs has provided a 'neighborhood' and 'community' to hundreds of residents in Eastern Independence, Missouri. Many of our homeowners who built their homes in The Cliffs back in 1985 continue to live here today. There are 261 homes situated among large trees, rolling hills, wildlife, and plenty of space to put your mind at ease from the pressures of life.
The Cliffs has many great features that help make it a wonderful place to live, including a shelter and park area with a small lake, a community garden, a neighborhood watch program, access to the Little Blue Trace Trail, and welcoming neighbors to name just a few.
We are conveniently located near many restaurants and shops, the Cable Dahmer Arena, and just a few minutes away from the Truman Sports Complex, where our beloved Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals play.
We hope you'll visit our little area of Independence and, maybe, call it home soon!
